Netherlands East Indies. (Prisoner of War in Sumatra). 1944. Prisoner of War postal stationery card headed 'Furyo Yubin' (Prisoner of War Post) with printed 'Marai Furyo Shuyosho' (Malaya Prisoner of War Post) with small "Marai" (Malaya) in violet and 'Ken'etsuzumi' (censored), written by 'H. van Saemsfoort, Landstorm Sergeant' 1st Klass' addressed to his wife in Bandoeng (Java) with boxed seal of "Takahashi" in orange and anointed '11th May 44' in pencil on reverse.
Interesting POW card with small "Marai" hand-stamp identical to that used in Singapore.
