Window envelope written from the Netherlands East Indies Contact Bureau addressed to India bearing Netherlands Indies SG 404, 15c ultramarine tied by Batavia/ Centrum date stamp '8th Jan 41' with oval 'Contact Bureau/ Indie - Nederland' on face in carmine with circular 'Dev/ 1' censor and 'Opened by Censor/ 159C' tied on arrival by triangular 'Passed By Censor/ C-18' and Mahabaleshwar arrival '5th Feb'. Very fine item from the Contact Bureau.
