Intern - Kamp/ Koetajane' date stamp '7th Jan 41' with circular 'Het Nederlandsch Indische/ Roode Kruis' in carmine on face and reverse with hand-stamp 'Gecensureerd/ 2' in carmine.
Attractive yellow Red Cross envelope issued to the Internees at Camp Alasvallei/ Koetajane, (North Sumatra).
Most of the German men held in the camp were transferred to Dehra Dun in British India, December 1941.
