Netherlands East Indies. (Indonesia - Red Cross Form). 1946. Red Cross Form (Bulterman 18) headed 'Comite International de la Croix-Rouge/ Geneve (Suisse)/ 61' written from 'Tjimahi Camp, Barrack 4, Hut G 20,' addressed to Pekalongan dated '23rd September 1946', routed via Tegal with circular 'Palang Merah Indonesia/ Tjabang Tegal' with P.M.I. Djakarta' (two types) and through the Red Cross Batavia 'Comite International/ Delegation Batavia' and P.M.I. Pekalongan' arrival with m/s 'Retour'. The message is in Malaya with reply on reverse in Dutch language.
Ex Bulterman and illustrated in his book 'Nederlands Indie in Oorlog" page 256 (Formulier 18).
Bulterman notes the Red Cross visited several Camps in the Republican area in 1946 for control purposes and these forms were distributed.
