Netherlands East Indies Red Cross Air Mail envelope written from 'Palopo, Celebes' addressed to 'Au Bureau International De La Croix Rouge/ Palais du Conseil General, Geneve, (Suisse)' bearing Netherlands Indies SG 408, 35c violet tied by Palopo date stamp '13th Nov 40' with 'Door Censuur Geopend' label tied by circular 'Het Nederlandsch Indische/ Roode Kruis' in carmine on face and reverse, routed via Batavia and sent .K.L.M. via Iraq with 'Marine - Censuur' label and 'Passed By Examiner' label applied in Bagdad. Lovely item.
