Postal D.V.O Bandoeng, Java' addressed to the Netherlands bearing United States 'Prexie' SG 826, 30c ultramarine tied by 'U.S. Army Postal Service/ A.P.O. 711' duplex dated '11th Oct 45'.
Attractive cover posted by a Dutch medical expert with the 'R.A.P.W.A.' (Recovery of Allied Prisoners of War and Internees). Forwarded to the U.S. Army Post Office in Manilla (711) as no U.S. Army Post Office on Java at this time.
