Stamp-less envelope written from Marseille addressed to Batavia, Java with framed 'P.P.' and oval 'Jacques Aine Chighizol & Cie/ Marseille' on reverse in blue, routed via the French and British Post Offices Alexandria '3rd Dec 1850' endorsed '10' styvers in m/s on reverse and rated '160' in m/s on arrival. Very fine.
