Netherlands East Indies. (Censored Mail). 1941. Netherlands Indies postal stationery card 3 1/2c black cancelled by Koetaradja date stamp '12th June 41' with adjacent framed hand-stamp 'Militaire Censuur/ Koetaradja' in black on face addressed to Wonosobo with m/s arrival '24/6' in red crayon on reverse.
Very scarce item of censorship from Koetaradja with variety wide "U" in censuur.
Only one other item known in the 'Museum voor Communication', collection "B. Hiegentlich".
A similar example illustrated in 'Nico de Weijer' Postal Censorship and Internment Camp Mail in the Dutch Indies 1940 - 1942 page 103/ 104.
