Kispal, G.F./ Nederlandes Mission - Japan c/o Postmaster San Francisco' dated Tokio 2nd Dec 1948' and signed addressed to Batavia with arrival on face '11th Dec 1948.'
The Dutch maintained a diplomatic mission in Japan. The mission was part of the Allied Occupation of Japan following WW11.
At the same time the Dutch were also involved in the Indonesian National Revolution known as the Dutch East Indies War of Independence.
