Stamp-less envelope written from Curacao dated '7th Feb 1857' addressed to France cancelled by Curacao date stamp in red '8th Feb' routed via St Thomas and Southampton with London transit '4 Mar' with framed Anglo-French accountancy 'GB/1f 60c' on face, French entry cachet and Paris arrival charged with hand-struck '16' for the double letter rate. Superb item from Curacao through the Anglo-French convention.
