Air mail envelope written from the 'Royal Netherlands Navy, Headquarters, London' addressed to Paramaribo cancelled by Maritime Mail/Post office hand-stamp in red with 'Royal Netherlands Navy / Passed by Censor' hand-stamp on face with 'Koniklike Marine/Gezien Censuur' and 'Geopend Door/Censuur Suriname' label tied by circular '8' and Censuur date stamp '23rd April 44' on face with boxed 'Z' in violet and framed 'Censuur/Suriname/A' on face. A superb item full of character.
