Stamp-less Air Mail envelope headed 'On His Majesty's Service' addressed to England cancelled by 'New Zealand/ Postage/ 6d' and New Zealand/ Postage 1s' cancelled by Wellington/ F.M.B. date stamp '9th Sept 41' with circular 'Defence Headquarters/ O.H.M.S.' on reverse with triangular 'Service Censor/ No 2' and signed, endorsed 'Air Mail via, Bathurst, Khartoum, Lagos' with London arrival '3rd Oct' on reverse.
Carried by 'All British' route, service for Official Mail available from October 1940 to October 1941.
Auckland - Sydney / Sydney - Singapore / Singapore - Karachi - Cairo (Then instead of Durban and thence by sea)
