Air Mail envelope written from Toulon addressed to a French Marine on the Frigate 'Poncelat' at Dakar bearing France Type Iris tied by Toulon slogan '9/11/40' , routed via Cotonou/Dahomey '29/11' with 'Controle Postal Militaire' censor label and forwarded to the 'Free French Forces' via Belgian Congo with Elisabethville '27/1/42 and Leopoldville '14/2' via Brazzaville/Moyen Congo '16/2' and forwarded to Pointe-Noire '21/2' with circular 'Controle Postal/ Commission A/Afrique Equatoriale Francaise' in blue and forwarded to Nigeria with framed 'Passed by Censor/Nigeria/ 11' in red. Extraordinary item.
