Stamp-less envelope addressed to France written from Panama dated '21st Feb 1856' with oval forwarded on reverse 'Hurtado I Hermanos' on reverse with British Post Office 'Colon' date stamp 'Fe 23 1856' in red on reverse, routed via London with framed accountancy 'Colonies/ Art 18' in orange on face, French entry cachet and Charged '15' on arrival. Very scarce item from the British Post Office in Panama with the Art 18 only in use 1856.
