(Peru). 1851. stamp-less envelope written from London dated '3rd October 1851' addressed to Lima, charged '1/-' in red crayon routed via Panama with British Post Office transit on reverse 'No 23' and circular 'Crown/Paid at Panama' on face in red with hand-struck '25' applied on arrival in Lima. Very fine.
