Persia. (Meched Military Censorship). 1921. Censored envelope addressed o Teheran bearing Yvert 309, 10c rose and brown (stamp on reverse) tied by Meched (Depart) double ring '8th Oct 21' with framed Meched military censor cachet in black reading 'Censored on behalf of military Governing Forces' with Teheran arrival 'Oct 22nd'.
A black rectangular Government military censor. The only known covers were mailed to Teheran from August to September 1921. (See "Ghajar covers and Postal History" by Iraj Eftekhar. published in 2003.
