Registered Air Mail envelope addressed to Bienne, Switzerland bearing Iraq Yvert 114, 20f orange (pair) tied by Basra double ring '10th Aug 44' with matching registered label and Iraq censor tape and boxed Iraqi censor hand-stamp in violet, routed via Istanbul '24/9' and Egypt with 'Egyptian Censorship' tape tied by circular 'Censorship Dept/45' and framed 'Postal Censor' on face with Sofia (Bulgaria) and Lisbon '1st Nov 44' transits with instructional 'Retour Service Suspendu' in carmine on face and held in Lisbon and not delivered until '5th Oct 45' after the Surrender of Germany. Superb Exhibition item.
