Stamp-less envelope written from 'Arequipa' dated '25th May 1872' addressed to France cancelled by Isay date stamp 'May 26' on face routed via the British Post Office 'Callao' cds 'May 28' via framed Anglo-French accountancy 'GB/1f 90c' and London transit 'Ju 27' , French entry cachet and Bordeaux arrival '28th June' on reverse. Very rare item from the British Post Office in Islay only opened from 1871 to 1877.
