Stamp-less envelope written from Arequipa dated May 7 1864' addressed to New York with Arequipa dispatch routed via the British Post Office Islay 'May 8' , Charged '6' with hand-struck 'Paid-To/ Panama' in red on face and Panama transit 'My 26', sent via the 'Talca" to Panama and "Ocean Queen" to New York. Lovely item.
