Peru. (British Post Offices in Callao, Peru). 1876. Folded letter written from 'SUPE' dated '10th Nov 1876' with bold oval 'Victor Vionnois/ Capitaine Au Long - Cours' in blue on face addressed to France bearing Peru Yvert 12a, 20c brown (bisect) tied by 'C38' obliterator with British Post Office 'Callao' on reverse 'No 13', routed via London 'Dec 14' with French accountancy 'T/ 1 - 70' in blue on face and charged with hand-struck '22' on arrival with Paris and Dijon receiver '15th Dec 1876' on reverse.

A very scarce commercial usage of the twenty cent bisect sent overseas to France.

An outstanding item worthy of further admiration.
