Air Mail envelope addressed to Manila headed 'North Atlantic and Trans-Pacific Air Service' bearing Great Britain SG 475, 1s brown (pair) and SG 476 2s6d brown tied by London duplex '28th Nov 1941' with Air Mail label and 'Opened by Examiner 537' label with instructional 'Returned to Sender/Service Suspended' in violet on face and returned with receiver '14th May 1942' date stamp on reverse. Very fine item of interrupted mail due to the Japanese Occupation. Nice high franking.
