Air Mail envelope addressed to London bearing Philippines SG 524, 2c carmine (4) and SG 533, 30c orange (2) tied by Manila/ Philippines date stamp 'Mar 2nd 1940', routed via Singapore with framed 'Par Avion (Singapore) via Air Mail' in violet and hand-stamp 'Passed For Transmission' on face with 'A.V. 2' hand-stamp in black (small type hand-stamp).
Scarce small type hand-stamp in black (much scarcer than red) noted by Proud to be used in Singapore for 'Onward Air Transmission' between (15.2.40) - (9.5.40).
