Stamp-less folded letter written from Mayaguez dated '22nd July 1870' addressed to Italy, carried via the British Post Office Puerto Rico dated 'Jy 17 70' (date plug error ), endorsed 'via Inglase', routed via London with circular London transit 'Au 13' and boxed Anglo-French accountancy 'GB/ 1f60c' on face with French entry cachet '13 Aout' and charged with hand-struck '10' and bearing Italy postage due Yvert 13, 1lira blue and carmine applied and tied by Genova receiver on face '16th Ago'.

A very fine underpaid cover from the British Post Office in Porto Rico carried on the French paquebot "Seine" arriving in Plymouth '12/8/70'.
