Portuguese Colonies. (Mozambique). 1942. Air Mail envelope written from 'Lumbo' addressed to Cuba bearing bearing Mozambique SG 377, 10e magenta (6) tied by Mozambique date stamp '7th May 42' , endorsed 'via Durban/ Johannesburg', routed by sea via Cape Town with bilingual censor label tied by censor cachet then 'Cape Town Clipper' to Belgian Congo and clipper to Miami and Havana '11th July' and forwarded to New York with 'Examined By/ 5986' censor tape applied on arrival.

7 May 1942: Air Mail Mozambique to Cuba. By sea to Capetown, where it was censored. Flown to Leopoldville, by "Capetown Clipper", which left 21st June arriving Miami 26th June, forwarded to Cuba arriving 11th July, readdressed to New York and censored on arrival.
Franked F2.75 for UPU rate 25c plus five times air fee of F11,05, franked E60, excess of E2.
