Portuguese Colonies. (Angola - Rhodesia - Bermuda). 1941. Envelope headed 'Banco de Angola' addressed to New York bearing Portuguese Angola SG 360, 50c cinnamon (3) and SG 388, 30c bright purple tied by Mossamedes date stamp '20th Out 1941', routed via Northern Rhodesia with 'Examined/ Censor No' tape tied by triangular 'Passed By Censor/ 5' in violet, forwarded via Lisbon '14th Dec' and intercepted by the British in Bermuda with 'Opened By Examiner/ 976' label with m/s 'I.C.' in black ink (applied over Rhodesia censorship tape).

konrad Morenweiser lists Examiner in Bermuda code number 976 but not with manuscript 'I.C.'
