Portuguese Colonies. (Mozambique - Sierra Leone). 1941. Stamp-less envelope written from 'Boite Postale No 47, Beira, Afrique Portuguese' addressed to Marseille, France, routed via Sierra Leone with 'Opened by Censor' label and small oval hand-stamp 'Censor/ 12' in violet on reverse, Lisbon transit '26th Nov 41' and 'Controle' label tied by oval 'Ouvert/ Par Les/ Autorite Militaires/ WL 433' on face and reverse applied in Narbonne.

Narbonne in 1941 was part of Vichy, France. Marseille did not fall to German and Italian Forces until November 1942.
