Russia. (Onward Air Transmission). 1944. Stamp-less envelope addressed to Stockholm cancelled by Moscow slogan routed north via Murmansk with censor tape and circular '29/ M' censor cachet applied on reverse in Murmansk, routed south via Great Britain with 'Opened by Examiner/ 5323' label and oval 'O.A.T.' (Onward Air Transmission) applied in carmine. Interesting routing, as no communication between Russia and Sweden the service was B.O.A.C. from Leuchars (Fife) to Bromma (Stockholm).
Ex Alistair Kennedy with his notes.
