Stamp-less envelope headed 'On His Majesty's Service' erased and endorsed 'On Active Service' addressed to Barnet cancelled by 'Field Post Office/ P.B. 55' double ring '15th June 19' with circular 'P.C.' and oval 'X5' censor and (Crown) 'Passed By Censor No 26R'in carmine on face.
The British Army utilised eight Army or Field Post Offices in the Archangel region. Field Post Office PB55 at Beresnik from (28.12.18) - (22.7.19).
