Stamp-less envelope addressed to 'Poitiers, Vienne, France' written from St. Petersburg cancelled by framed diamond '1859/ St. Petersburg/11/ V11/ 8' on reverse with hand-struck 'Porto' in black and hand-stamp 'A' and miss-sent to Vienna with boxed '10 - 11 Fr/ Wien/ 15 V11' in red on reverse and 'Autriche/ 2 Erquelines 2' French entry cachet in red on face '18 Juil' and framed 'Affranchissement/ 15 Insuffisant' 15' in red on face (type not listed by Van der Linden) with Paris a Bordeaux ambulant and Poitiers arrival '28th Juil', rated '10' in m/s with various m/s accountancy marks on reverse '9.50 + 1.20 = 10.70' and '12.50' on reverse.
Interesting item of mail from St. Petersburg '8th July' miss-sent to Vienna '15th July' (mistaken for the French Province of Vienne) and forwarded to France.
Also applied is the hand-stamp 'A' found normally on mail from the Levant, Kustendje, Czernavoda and Galatz according to Van der Linden.
