Picture post card of 'Maryinsk' written from 'Nijnyudinsk, (Irkutsk), Siberia dated '9th September 03' addressed to France bearing Russia Yvert 41, 4k rose tied by Postal Wagon No 138 (struck twice) dated '24-8' (6-9), carried by Postal Wagon No 242 with St. Petersburg transit 3-9 (16-9) and Paris receiver '18th Sept 1903.
This post card would have taken the Trans-Baikal railway from Baikal and Irkutsk as the overland Trans Siberian railway was not built until 1904.
