Stamp-less envelope written from Castries, Saint Lucia dated '20th Nov 1833' addressed to France, charged '10', routed via Cayenne, French Guyana and forwarded via Martinique with hand-struck 'Martinique' on reverse with boxed French entry 'Pays D'Outremer/Par Le Havre', rated '25' in m/s and Pau receiver on reverse. Interesting text on the 'Slave Trade'. A very fine item from St. Lucia.
