Serbia. (Tunisia). 1917. Austro-Hungary 'K.U.K. Feldpost' postal stationery card 8h green upgraded with Bosnia Yvert 66, 3k lilac dated 'Cacak 18th Mars 1917', addressed to France with framed Serbian military cachet 'No 40'. routed via Corfu and Salonique with military transits 'Br 999' dated '27/4' and 'Br 603' dated '29/4' and 'Br 615' dated '14/5' forwarded via Austria with triangular 'Wein' censor in violet on face and re-directed from France to Tunisia with 'Br 999' arrival dated '14/7'.
After the invasion of Serbia the Serbian military retreated through Albania to the Greek Islands manly to Corfu and Salonique. With the help of the Allies a contingent was then sent to Bizerte. Tunisia, North Africa. A very interesting item of mail addressed to the Serbian refugees in Bizerte, Tunisia.
