'Archbold Expedition envelope addressed to 'Box 5, Post Office, Campsie, N.S.W.' illustrated with map of Trans-Indian Ocean Flight and small photo of the crew affixed bearing Australia SG 165,1d green tied by Port Hedland date stamp '4th June 39' , Dutch Indies SG 341, 5c blue tied Batavia '6/6' and 'C & W. Ltd./ Cocos/8th June' on reverse and 'John Clunies Ross' monogram on face initialed at Chagos (no post office) forwarded to Seychelles bearing SG 137, 6c orange tied Victoria 'June 19' and Kenya SG 137, 15c black and rose tied by Mombasa date stamp '23rd June' and signed by Captain P.G. Taylor. Only 6 covers known.
