Seychelles. (Australia). 1916. Picture post card of 'Granite Island, Port Victor, South Australia' written from Hindmarsh Island dated 'May 4th 16' addressed to Mahe, Seychelles bearing Australia SG 21, 1d carmine tied by Hindmarsh Island squared circle routed via Melbourne with hand-stamp 'Passed' (Military District No 3) applied in violet and Seychelles arrival 'June 23rd 16' on reverse. Seychelles did not se censor marks during WW1 and there are few examples of mail arriving into the Seychelles censored elswhere.
