Censored envelope written from the Cape addressed to Basutoland bearing Cape of Good Hope SG 59, 1d rose tied by Stellenbosh Station date stamp 'Ja 9th' with 'V.R./ Opened Under Martial Law' censor label, routed via Aliwar North 'Ja 12' and Maseru 'Ja 17' with Moija arrival '18th Jan' on reverse. Very fine.
