Spain. (British Consular Mail). 1852. Stamp-less folded letter written from Cadiz dated '17th Feb 1852' addressed to Porto cancelled by circular 'B.C. Cadiz' (with fleuron) (Van der Linden 522B), sent by British Packet with framed 'P. Brit' in blue on face, routed via Lisbon, charged with hands-struck '120' and m/s 40 = 160' with oval postage due 'Ley de 20/4 50/5 Rs.' in red with boxed Porto receiver '24/2' on reverse. Very fine.
