Spanish Colonies. (British Post Offices in Cuba). 1873. Stamp-less envelope addressed to France cancelled by British Post Office 'Havana/ Paid' date stamp 'Jy 9th 73', rated '7d' in m/s red crayon with oval 'PD', endorsed 'voire Anglaise' with London/ Paid transit on face in red 'July 29th', French entry cachet and charged '12' on arrival in m/s with 'Paris a Bordeaux' ambulant and Assum receiver on reverse '31st Juil'.

John Parmenter records the Havana Paid in use from '23rd September 1865 until 8th March 1870' and rated Rarity 'G' (Very rare).
