British West Indies. (St. Vincent - Anglo French Accountancy). Circa 1878. A colourful selection of 29 stamps from the two types listed by Messenger and Proud and the recently discovered third instrument of this accountancy hand-stamp.
SG 18, 1d black cancelled by 'GB/ 40c' in red with small "C" now attributed to the village of Biabou. (2) and four 1d rose-reds with GB/40c (small c) also from Biabou village.
Values up to SG 24, 1s vermilion (3) one ex "Messenger", surcharges (2) and 1d rose-red shades (4), with types sans serif "4" and seriffed "4" including 4d deep blue (2), 4d ultramarine and SG 26a, 6d pale green (2).
