Sudan. (Upper Oubangui-Chari). 1918. Envelope written from 'Goubere, Haut-Oubangui' addressed to France bearing Sudan SG 18, 1m brown and carmine (2 strips of five) tied by diamond obliterator routed via Wau '13th Aug' with framed 'Passed Censor/ Sudan' and Khartoum '23/9' with Shellal-Halfa/TPO/ No 1/ Sudan ambulant '29th Sept' and Cairo '1st Oct' on reverse. Very scarce item of mail from Upper Oubangui Chari and routed north over the River border via Sudan and Egypt to France. A quicker routing.
