Air Mail envelope addressed to Batavia, Netherlands East Indies bearing Switzerland Yvert 209, 1f20 lilac and rose (pair) tied by Zurich date stamp '12th Sept 41' routed via Singapore with hand-stamp 'E' and '25' with 'Door Censuur Geopend' censor label tied by 'Censuur/ 13' date stamp in red '28th Oct 41' with 'Inconnu' pink label and framed 'Retour' with boxed 'Address Insufficient' on reverse and returned via Bermuda with 'Opened by Examine/ 601' label. Very fine item of returned mail.
Lovely item with red vertical lines JUSQU'SA mark applied at office of exchange.
