Hick, Bank of Ireland, Cork' endorsed 'Liberated, U.K. P.O.W.' and headed 'Air Mail', routed via the Australian Base Post Office cancelled 'Aust. Army P.O./ 194' date stamp '14th Sept 45' with instructional 'Passed Free/ Of Postage'.
Lance Bombardier Hick had been a Prisoner of War in Taiwan before Liberation. Very scarce item from an Irish Prisoner of War.
