Registered Advice of Receipt Air Mail envelope illustrated (Tennis) addressed to New York bearing SG 256, 15s blue (pair) and SG 258, 50s black and orange (pair) tied by Bangkok / 1 date stamp '23rd May 39' with matching registered label and hand-struck boxed 'A.R.' on face with New York arrival 'June 6 1939' and forwarded with 'Forwarded / G.P.O.N.Y. Reg Div' in violet on face. Superb item for the Tennis specialist. Illustrated envelopes from Thailand are not common.
