Thailand. (Horseshow Route). 1941. Air Mail envelope addressed to England bearing SG 244, 1t green and lilac tied by bilingual Bangkok G.P.O. date stamp '25th Mars 41', endorsed 'B.O.A.C. via Durban' with circular '4' censor in violet on face. A lovely one tical single franking, routed on the famous war time horseshow route via the Cape of Good Hope.
B.O.A.C. was formed on the 24th November 1939 by the amalgamation of Imperial Airways and British Airways Ltd.
