Air Mail envelope addressed to New York bearing SG 243, 50s black and orange-brown (pair), SG 287, 5s purple and SG 288, 10s carmine (6) tied by Bangkok GPO date stamp '30th June 40', endorsed 'A.C. & APN American Trans Pacific', routed via Hong Kong with triangular framed 'Passed Censor/ Hong Kong/ 9' in blue on face.
Carried on the twice weekly service 'BOAC' to Hong Kong, censored and on 'PAA' clipper across the Pacific.
Very attractive franking paying 1 baht 65 satang.
