Thailand folded 'Aerogramme' 8.50 baht written from a Laotian in 'Camp de Refugies Lao, NAPHO Camp, Nakhon Phanom' addressed to France cancelled by Nakhon Phanom date stamp '4th Sept 87' with hand-struck 'Send Letters To Refugee Camp/ Please (PUT NKP NP OR UZ) in carmine on face.
When the war in South East Asia ended many Lao fled across the Mekong and the Ban Napho Refugee Camp in Nakhon Phanom Province housed those fleeing Communism in Lao and the Viet Nam War.
