Thailand. (Photograph). Circa 1918. Photograph of the 'Officers of the Siamese Aviation Corps in France' during WW1.
Following the declaration of war on Germany, Thailand sent about 1,200 volunteers to France. The volunteers included ambulance, motor and aviation corps. The first contingent arrived on the 31st July 1918.
