Thailand. (Photograph). Circa 1918. Photo of the Siamese on the Western Front. Entraining for the Battle-Zone.
Following the declaration of war on Germany, Thailand sent about 1,200 volunteers to France. The volunteers included ambulance, motor and aviation corps. The first contingent arrived on the 31st July 1918.
