Air Mail envelope addressed to New York bearing SG 295, 25s orange and grey, SG 296, 50s grey and orange and SG 297, 1b grey and ultramarine tied by Bangkok GPO date stamp '3rd Sept 41' with circular '6' censor chop in violet, routed via Singapore with censor tape tied by 'Passed By Censor/ 289/ A' hand-stamp on face and reverse with circular 'D' and '27' applied on face.
Carried from Bangkok to Singapore by 'B.O.A.C.' or 'K.L.M.', then to Batavia and 'KNILM to Manilla and 'P.A.A. Clipper service to San Francisco and onward by domestic service to New York.
