Thailand. (Air Mail). 1948. Registered Air Mail envelope written from the 'Chief Officer 'S.S. "Benvrackie" addressed to Scotland bearing Siam SG 254, 5s violet, SG 259, 80s black and light blue, SG 261, 2b brown and carmine, SG 262, 3b green and grey, SG 294, 15s grey and blue, SG 295, 25s orange and slate, SG 296, 50s grey and orange (pair), SG 307, 1b indigo and SG 315, 20ls purple-brown tied by Bangkok GPO date stamp with registration label.

Registered mixed franking cover, ten different stamps from the Three reigns, Rama 7, 8 and Rama 9 paying the 'eight baht, forty five satang' Registered Air Mail rate.

The 'S.S. "Benvrackie" had been the name given to the 'Ben Line' merchant ships named after 'Ben Vrackie' a mountain in Scotland.
