Air Mail envelope addressed to London bearing Siam SG 256, 15 blue (pair), SG 296, 50s orange and grey, SG 309, 3s green (pair), SG 311, 2s pale orange-brown (pair) and SG 312, 10s deep red tied by Bangkok/ 2 GPO date stamp '5th April 46' with circular serif "2" censor cachet in violet on face.
A very late usage of censorship from Siam before the Official re-opening of mail services between Thailand and the outside world in May 1946.
Attractive multi-franked cover with scarce 'Indo-China War Monument, Bangkok', issues and difficult serif "2" censorship cachet applied in Bangkok.
