Thailand. (Censored Air Mail). 1946. Air Mail envelope addressed to London bearing Siam SG 256, 15 blue (pair), SG 296, 50s orange and grey, SG 309, 3s green (pair), SG 311, 2s pale orange-brown (pair) and SG 312, 10s deep red tied by Bangkok/ 2 GPO date stamp '5th April 46' with circular serif "2" censor cachet in violet on face.
A very late usage of censorship from Siam before the Official re-opening of mail services between Thailand and the outside world in May 1946.
Attractive multi-franked cover with scarce 'Indo-China War Monument, Bangkok', issues and difficult serif "2" censorship cachet applied in Bangkok.
